Work
I have office experience as a File Clerk, Secretary, Administrative Assistant, Underwriting Assistant and Claims Assistant for a total of 20 years. I also have 8 years operating my own virtual customer service business from my home, as well as a trucking company and a pilot/escort car company. I can perform the duties of data entry, extensive internet searches, maintaining calenders, writing memos and emails, and creating & maintaining spreadsheets and many other duties.
I can type 52 wpm with 99% accuracy and, upon request, can provide documentation of my typing skills.
I have a fully equipped home office which includes a desk top computer with 3.3 gig processor with 8 gig memory, Win 10, 160 gig and 1tb hard drives. I have two 19" wide screen flat panel monitor, high speed internet, and an online fax account (eFax). I also have an account with dropbox for online storage. There are 2 printers for my office, a color laser and an all-in-one color ink jet that includes a scanner/copier and a USB Headset.
I have great organizational, people and phone skills as well as computer and internet savvy. I have ability to work a flexible schedule, can freelance or work in an employee based company with no supervision. I have advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Google Chrome, Internet Explore, AIM and Yahoo Messenger, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Open Office, Google Docs and Corel WordPerfect.
I earned my certificate for Medical Billing and Claims and Medical Coding earning a 96% for my final grade for both courses. Over the past 3 decades, I have taught myself Corel , Windows, Microsoft Office, Libre, Google Chrome, Firefox, Outlook along with several other and am proficient in all. I have also taken software classes for the clients that I provide customer service for.
Things I like to do
I love to go camping, hiking, walking my 4 dogs, do improvements around our property, learn new software, build computers, crafting, and read books.
I sat on the beach and a beautiful wave
Came tumbling right up to me.
It threw some pink shells on the sand at my feet,
Then hurried straight back out to sea.
It ran away swiftly and leaped up in foam;
It bumped other waves in its glee.
I think it was hurrying to gather more shells,
To bring as a present for me.
